Photo Retouching
Hi folks
First post from me in the rainy Garden of England. I have been asked by a colleague to correct some old photos for her. SOme are torn, some are very badle creased and some are very faded. I would be grateful for some help. Anyone got any greate techniques for improving these kind of photos, that actually work? or point me in the direction of some good tutorials? I have tried using some tutorials on the web and in some of my books but they still look pretty poor… Some pictures are B&W, some are sepia, and I actually have one that is hand tinted. I am using CS at the moment.

A great site to check out for tutorials on this subject is RETOUCHPRO.COM. I discovered the site when I was doing some photo fix up work. The site also has a nice gallery of members work so you can get inspired. -Maryanne
