  Macros in Photoshop CS?

  I use macros in Excel and other applications all the time to automate tasks I perform every day.

  I’ve recently added a photo gallery to my website, and would like to reduce the size of the images that come from my camera by 50% before uploading them to my server.

  I’m wondering if there is a way to automate this process, as is possible with macros in other functions. I’m using Photoshop CS. Does the software provide this capability?
