  double click not opening doc

  Since I upgraded to 8.0 (months ago) I’ve had this problem – when I double click on a .psd it launches photoshop, but DOESN’T OPEN THE DOC ITSELF. Same thing if I drag to the PS icon in the dock. Am I missing something? In “info” for all my ps docs, the “open with” is set for PS CS (8.0×119).
