    Hello,

I’m getting into digital Photography and Photoshop. I took some photos, did some editiong in Photoshop and had them printed out at the Photo store using the machine they use for film. Colors look awful. I have a couple of question on color profiles on the Mac.

    1. Do I set my mac (system Perfs) to the profile of my monitor or Adobe RBG 1998?

2.In photoshop do I set the color mode to match what I set up in the apple prefs or should I stick with Adobe 1998?

3 When I save my pictures as jpeg do I want to embed the color profile or uncheck that box. When I embed the profile I can’t
upload the photos to the Kodak printing web page. I keep getting invalid file format. Without the profile the photos upload
    without any problems.

Thanks for a great forum. I’m learning a great deal from everyone.

    Take Care

    Bob M

I don’t know if this is of any use to you, but I’ve found this helpful in the past when trying to understand color spaces and this when trying to calibrate for print.

    Marie.
