  Color help

  In photoshop, anytime I choose a saturated red or orange in the palette it gives me an unsaturated color instead of the one I picked. I’ve changed the color profile of the document and even tried CMYK instead of RGB. Neither seem to make a difference. It’s probably a setting choice that I’ve missed, but I’m having no luck figuring this one out.
  Any help would be appreciated.
