  Text tool won’t work? Creates non existent text?

  Not sure how to fix and it’s seriously annoying. Help!

  UPDATE: Now it’s doing this: https://i.imgur.com/0UMS0k7.png (I’m not using the vertical text tool.

  Try decreasing your font size to something like 90 or so, then create a new text box and type in your text. Or you could press shift+cntl+alt+t to make a text layer and start typing, that doesn’t have the bounding box properties that creating with the text tool has.

  Hi, none of the suggestions solved my problem. What would be an advised next step?

  Kind of an embarassing error: had the Horizontal Scale at 0%… sorry for wasting everyone’s time.
