  pupet tool

  I am choosing the layer, choosing the pupet tool. When clicking on the desired place, nothing happens and the pupet tool turns into selection tool, with a small recrangular.
  Can any one help me to save the problem?

  Not without more information. What sort of layer are you trying to use the puppet tool on? Try precomposing it (moving all attributes) and applying the puppet tool to the precomp instead.
