after effects to premiere export workflow
Hi everyone
I usually work on Mac using After Effects CC and PremierePro CC. I edit in premiere and make some titles with after effects. Usually, I export my after effects titles in ProRes 4444 RGB+Alpha and I import that to Premiere, allowing me to put my titles over my basic editing layer. That is super fast for me and it’s really useful.
Lately, I’m trying to work on windows, and I’m having a lot of trouble finding a workflow that allows me to do the same think. I tried Animation for example but it’s like super heavy and the machine can’t run it properly. I don’t have ProRes in windows and I don’t know if it’s possible to use it. Is there a way or a codec that would allow me to do something similar in windows?

Ae and Pr CC 2014 include GoPro CineForm. This is a mezzanine codec, comparable to ProRes or DNxHD, and it supports transparency.
DNxHD also has flavors which support transparency.
Also, you could use dynamic link to bring your Ae comp onto your Premiere timeline and skip the render entirely.
