Title crawl with glow effect to highlight certain text
Hey there,
Trying to make a slightly complex (or not) text effect for a teaser I’m working on. Basically I need to have a few dozen names & dates appear in just a few seconds–the stylization is more important than legibility, although legibility for a few names would be ideal.
The solution I’ve come up with for now is to run a series of title crawls with multiple names/dates in each one, and try to apply a glow animation to ONLY the names (not dates) as they scroll by. I hope that makes sense.
Does anyone have an idea on how to do this in after effects? Link to a tutorial? Any other ideas that would accomplish what I’m going for here are welcome as well…Any help appreciated as always
