I’m not sure what you’re asking. Are you asking how to rename a layer using a script? It might be something like this:
app.project.activeItem.layer(1). name = “BG”;
Or are you asking something else entirely?

Yes Dan I want make script buttons to k-bar to quickly rename layer that I choose.

Yeah thats almost what i want, but it works only with layer 1. But I want the selected layer. Please bro help me.
