  Transform effect position to other Layer Position

  I’m sure this is easy to do.. but I’ve searched everywhere for an answer…

  I have a layer that I have applied a Transform effect to..I have positioned a seperate null near it’s location. I want to be able to use this null to control the position in transform effect.

  However I can’t use a pickwhip, as it will replace it’s position rather add to it ?? to I need World Position

  any help very grateful

  Try this:

  L = thisComp.layer(“Null 1”);
  fromComp(L.toComp(L.anchorPoint))
