  Data Updation using Expression for Graphics after Rendering

  I have a small problem I’m trying to tackle in AfterEffects using expression. We have a graphics like a lower third for example. We need to get external data (from rss or text file for example) on this graphic using expression. I do understand I can get this data using expression in the project, but once the file is rendered and we playout, how do we update this data. Is there a way in AfterEffects or using expressions.

  You want to modify a video file after you rendered it from AE? If that is so, you can’t. If you want multiple versions, you need to render them all from AE.

  Just as Andrei mentioned – not possible.

  I assume you expected to generate single video and then swap data, but this is logically impossible to achieve, as video renders out as ‘baked’ single piece of output.
