  Continually rasterizing with motion blur

  i have a bunch of comps which are all made of vectors to keep them clear as i zoom into them (quite a lot).
  As i zoom in i want to use nice layer motion blur but also keep the vector clarity at either end of the zoom move.

  i figure i can make one render with motion blur on and another with Continually rasterizing and comp the two together, but is there a better way.

  ps sorry if this has already been covered but i couldn’t find it.

  Your best bet is to break this into 2 comps! In the first comp, set your illustrator as large as it needs to be in the final comp. This may be as large as a 2000×2000 comp. Set Continuously Rasterize on for this layer.
  Then nest this into a comp that is sized according to the the final resolution of your output. Animate the nested layer, include scaling down animation but never going above 100%. Set Motion Blue to on. Render away.
