Responsive Grid
I think this is an interesting one for some of you expression heads. I’m trying to make a responsive grid where you can move a null and it adjusts the size of each square comp accordingly.
I’m also trying to make it so each comp doesn’t stretch the image but keeps it’s scale. I found this thread which got me so far but I’m having a bit of trouble finishing it off.
If anyone can help that would be amazing.

On the theory level of things, you need to use the sections as track mattes for the actual images. The images need to scale proportionally, using the larger of the scale factors (x or y) of the corresponding matte layers. Then they also need to be centered on the matte so that they fill properly. That’s the concept, let me know how far you get with that.
