  Trapcode Mir layer parenting?

  Anyone know of a way to set the texture and bump layers on Mir via some sort of parenting or expression?

  I guess this is a case of too little information. Why does the normal method not work for you?

  I want to have about a dozen mir objects in a scene. Instead of having to go into each layer’s mir effect and tell the dropdown which sources to pull from for the texture/bump it’d be sweet if I could write some sort of expression saying to sample from “layer index-1” or even better “layer atTime” etc.

  If they are sourced from the same texture, you can precomp the texture. Then, once linked up, when you change the texture in the precomp, it will change in every instance.

  Even if you have separate sources for every instance, using precomps means you don’t have to go into Mir settings to update the links.
