limiting wigglers for robotic movement
Greetings and thanks in advance to you geniuses!
Image a light moving away from the camera in Z. I’m using it as a particle generator creating a line, and I’d Iike it to move around on the X and Y. No problem. I can just put keyframes on Z and wigglers on x&y dimensions and I’m all good. And nice curvily-flowing line moving away from the camera.
But what if I wanted to have that movement be a little more robotic, where it travels in a straight line, then moves randomly in x and y, then continues straight towards my Z with that x&y for a while, then move again randomly in x&y… creating a more Tron-ish diagonals/lines rather than a flowing curving line.
Any thoughts how to do this without keyframing? Some kind of limiter on the wigglers or randomize-then-lock on the x and y?
THANKS!
Tom D.
