Hey all, I was wondering if there was a way to start with a centered layer, and use an expression to change it’s relative position while keeping it’s anchor point [say, “(width,height)/2” or whatever] absolute. Furthermore, I’m wondering if there’s a way to then rotate the layer around that anchor point. I’d like to use the index values in conjunction with the rotation value to have them rotate around that anchor point.

Having trouble figuring out how to start on this expression(s).

I’m not if this is what you’re talking about, but I think I’d try the Transform effect and for the Anchor Point parameter expression, just pick whip it to the Position parameter (so they are the same). The I think the Rotation parameter will do what you want. That might get you closer anyway.
