  Optical Flares not working on collapsed transformation comps in AE CC2014

  I have a precomp with an optical flares layer in it, the positioning mode is set to 3d and the blending mode is set to Screen. When I look at the layer in the outer comp I’m seeing the edges of it and the flare gets cropped (see attached).

  I added a similar 2d layer and applied a couple of 3d effects to it, (Particular and CC Particle World) to test if it was doing the same and everything works as expected.

  It seems to me this is an Optical Flares issue but I’m not sure.

  If anyone can help it would be great.
