  29.97 footage importing as 30.090

  I have a very short clip (4 frames) that was shot @ 29.97, but when I bring it into AE, it comes in @ 30.090fps. After changing the interpretation, when I play the clip back, the first two frames are frozen, no movement, when there is movement in the source movie. I opened the source movie in Quicktime to double check, and it shows 29.97 with movement in all frames.

  Any ideas what is causing this?

  Edit: I got a longer clip from the editor (16 frames) and the problem goes away. Still wondering why this happened in the first place. Specifically, why the first two frames would be frozen and the last two frames would be trimmed off.
