Hi, I’m working on a 35 second comp. When I do ram preview it stops at 28seconds. The error message is AE error: retrieving frame from video screen if using either 3d modes or open gl pbuffer not available if using open gl. I can render a movie OK it is just the preview.

I have two gigs of ram and a radeon xl 850 video card.

Does anyone know what the errors mean and what the solution to this is?

    I appreciate any help,
    Adele

I’ve had this when using uncompressed .avi’s as my source.. Usually if I purge the image cache then re-render the preview it’s fine.. OR use quicktime/TGA sources instead.

    Cheers,
    Andy
