Changing multiple expressions easily.
Hey there, so I’m building rigs for other, less experienced, animators in After effects. These rigs often contain several expressions that reference a certain controller layer in another comp, to make it easier on the next animator.
Often times I’m in a situation where I need to change the reference layer for over a dozen expressions (from (“controller A”) to (“controller B”) for example). Its easy enough, but very time consuming. I was wondering if there was a way to change a common name or value across many expressions. Maybe by setting the expressions up in a certain way from the beginning?
