    Hello All,

I am posting this in this forum because I think it would be the best place if you feel it should be in a different forum let me know and I will repost. Anyway here goes.

I have been teaching myself After Effects and am trying to animate an intro for my company. I have a illustrator file that was created for some other graphic work and will be used as the intro, this is for a financial company so I want it to have the fade in and out reveal in out movement you often see in financial animations.

It is half circles(actually just paths in Illustrator) there are about 75 layers.

I created a gradient layer in its own comp and changed it to angle. I can put it above a single layer and change it to luma and get it to reveal on like I want. But I can’t it to control multiple layers randomly. I also would like to randomly control the opacity between all the layers. Can anyone give me ideas of where would be a good place to start.
