  Consistent Spacing in Counter

  Hi guys, I’m really stuck on this one and could really use some help.

  So I need to create a counter that goes from 90,414 to 390,000. The spacing needs to be even, like an odometer: https://vimeo.com/38563957

  However, I need a controller to set the time so it can fit in about 8 seconds.

  My issues here are such:

  Number effect in After Effects only goes up to 3000 and the expressions I’ve found that go higher make the numbers oscillate in position as they ascend.

  I tried toggling it by hand but it looks too random to my client.

  Any suggestions for either :
  1. Creating a Dan counter expression but with numbers that stay firm in their digit columns?
  2. creating an expression that controls time over toggle holds?
  3. Anything I might be missing?
