  Expression On Position Layer

  I cant find an expression for this anywhere, so I’m looking for help. I think its an easy solution, but I cant find an answer anywhere, so please help.

  I NEED AN EXPRESSION, ON A POSITION LAYER, THAT TELLS THE LAYER TO ALIGN TO THE CENTER OF THE COMP…thats it.

  If the layer is not a child layer, then this should work:

  [thisComp.width,thisComp.height]/2

  I realized that my anchor point on the image layer was not centered, so even though the expression works, the layer is still not centered. I can fix this manually myself but is there another expression I can use so that the anchor and the position are both centered in the comp??

  Try this:

  [thisComp.width,thisComp.height]/2 + anchorPoint – [width,height]/2

  No it didnt work, but thats okay…not an issue for me anymore. Thanks anyway
