  Script for applying Keylight setup to clip

  This request is probably a gigantic long shot, but on the off chance that some brilliant script writer comes across this post and want to help a guy out, I would be tremendously grateful.

  I am in need of a script that will do the following (the order of the steps doesn’t matter if the end result is the same):

  Duplicate selected clip

  Set original layer’s track matte to Alpha

  Apply hue/saturation preset to original layer

  Apply Keylight preset to duplicated layer

  Select both layers and precompose with with in/out points the same as original clip

  This script will be applied to many clips of a host shot on a green screen, and would speed up my workflow tremendously. I wish AE had an actions palette similar to Photoshop so it could just “watch” me do these steps and script it for me, but sadly it cannot. I’ve spent some time attempting to find the bits of code I would need to carry out this set of actions, but I simply am not educated enough in the world of scripting to figure it out on my own.
