  • Had a question about shape fill expressions

I was wondering if it was possible for me to take a graident ramped circle doughnut style shape and fill it when i tied it to another counter expression? Its sort of the idea of a battery filling on a cellphone at leas the round style batteries… Just wondering if there was a shape fill expression that can happen in 360 degree fashion? Thanks in advance for any response.

Currently dont know it just have it set to cycle or I used iexpression for the rotation expression from that.

Yes, and you probably don’t need expressions.

Just draw your doughnut in Photoshop or with masks in AE. Duplicate it so there’s a different colored one behind it. Then add the transition “Radial Wipe” and reveal a doughnut with “Transition Completion” over the top of the other one.

You can blend it to make a slight gradient with the Radial Wipe’s “Feather”.

You could even have more than two colors by layering multiple doughnuts.
