    Hello,
I would like to access the value of the motion blur switch on a layer, something along the lines of:

    thisLayer.motionBlur

…so I can control whether Motion Blur is / is not applied in the Refine Matte effects for that layer. I can get the comp’s shutter angle easily enough (thisComp.shutterAngle) and poke that into the Refine Matte effect’s shutter angle, but it would be very useful to be able to get a per-layer motion blur enable/disable property kind of thing.

From dragging the pick-whip to any of the layer’s switches (which achieves nothing) it seems I might be asking for the impossible, but I’m hoping it might be hiding as some obscure variable stored internally that I can grab.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Paul

As far as I know, you can’t get at the motion blur state.

I suspected as much. Thanks (as always!) Dan.
