  Y-Axis Only For Tracking Data

  I have just exported tracking data from mocha and now have a null object in my composition that contains all the tracking data. I want to make an object that will only move in the y-axis when following the tracking data. Can someone please help me achieve this?

  If you want to adopt the y postion of another layer, you can do it like this:

  L = thisComp.layer(“Null 1”);
  y = L.position[1];
  [value[0],y]

  If you want to apply just the y motion of another layer, you can do it like this:

  L = thisComp.layer(“Null 1”);
  y = (L.position-L.position.valueAtTime(L.inPoint))[1];
  value + [0,y]
