  Handing Lower Thirds to Video Editor – Frame Rate

  Hi,

  I am creating some Lower third IDs for an awards show. I will be passing off quicktime file to the editor who will be editing them on top of footage clips. He will be rendering out the final video as Pro Res HD 720p/24. What would be the best frame rate to work at in After Effects? Also the best render setting, Pro Res, H.264?

  Your editor should let you know the frame rate requirements since your output framerate should match his.

  As for CODEC, again, it’s often best to follow what his timeline settings.
