  Expression for evolving triangles

  Hello, I’m looking at a way to produce something similar to the background of this in After Effects:

  I have been experimenting with manually animating masks and using the ‘cell pattern’ effect. The latter has got me closest, but I’m left with polygons with too many sides (not triangles).

  I basically want the sides of the adjacent triangles to move with each other so that there’s a network of evolving triangles.

  Does anyone know of an expression that could help me achieve this?

  I’d be very grateful to anyone who can help.
