  • Layer Marker testing?

Posted by Tim Mathews on March 16, 2010 at 9:59 pm

Is it possible to test a layer to see if it has a marker on it? When I try to test: thisLayer.marker AE returns true in the boolean always (apparently the layers name itself is a marker too, as this shows up in my text layer test results. [Used a text layer to see what values my variables were returning.]).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get the number of markers on a layer with this:

    marker.numKeys
