  • Is it possible to create composition with FPS less than 1?

Hi, I’m using AE CC 2014 and making gif with still images in it, and want it have small size. I need change image every 2 seconds, so basically I need 0.5 FPS in composition, but I can’t do this in AE composition settings, when I set it to 0.5 (also tried 0,5) after pressing OK it’s going back to 1 FPS. Any ideas how to perform this?

Maybe if you increase the frame rate of the composition, you will achieve what you want. By doing 60fps, you should get a frame every half second. Does that make sense?

Hmm, no. I will get 30 frames on half second, now for 2 second of still non-changable image I have actually 2 same images in rendered sequence, i.e. 1 frame per second, but I need 0.5 frame per second, i.e. 1 frame per 2 seconds.

The minimum frame rate in Ae is 1.0 frames per second.
