Create a mask with a script
Posted by Matt Cloak on June 26, 2009 at 4:14 amIs there a way to make a preset that will create a 4-point mask? Any help is appreciated.

Or did you mean something else?

June 26, 2009 at 11:43 pmWhat I’m trying to do is make a preset for a text wipe effect. I would like to apply it to a word of text and each character wipes in together, but kind of follows the shape of the letter. Like the T would start in the middle and go up until about halfway and then widen out for the cross part. But I need to add 1 mask for every character in the word and then certain characters would go up and then right, some right and then up. Some would start on the left side, some would start in the middle. It all depends on which letter it is, so I need to write a script. Does this make sense? Or am I going about this the wrong way?
