  expression on a property w/o stopwatch

  Hello,

  i am wondering if it is possible to add an expression to a property without a stopwatch? for example;

  i have the fill effect on multiple layers. in the effect there is an on/off switch for “all masks” and i want to control it with an expression controller, but there is no option to parent the property. is there any way around this?

  There’s no way to have an expression directly control a property with no stopwatch. You’d have to do something like duplicating your layer, set the upper copy to All Masks and then use an expression (or keyframes) to toggle its opacity between 0 and 100.
