• Adobe After Effects

  RAM preview needs 2 or more frames to playback.

  Anybody familiar with this error and what causes it? I have 16gb of ram with 13gb committed to AE. Every time I get this error I shut down AE and restart and I’m good for a short time before it gives me this error and doesn’t allow me to render preview. What can I do to keep this error from happening?

  Thanks – It’s not just limited to audio scrubbing. The same error happened today while I was moving the time indicator arrow across the work area to view my animation. Restarting AE temporarily fixed it.
