I have a circle with a ramp effect applied to it. I have two 3D objects orbiting the circle. One is a “Sun” the other is a “Moon”. I want the positions of the “Sun” and the “Moon” to drive the colors of the ramp effect.

For example, when the “Sun” passes over the circle I would like both ramp colors to be the same. When neither the “Sun” or the “Moon” are directly over the circle I would like one of the colors to be day and the other color to be night. Creating a perfect loop.

This is an illustrated, cartoon like simulation of the “Sun” and “Moon” orbiting the circle or “Earth”.
