    Hi –

I am using Dan Ebbert’s Inverse Kinematics Redux expressions to animate a 2D character and have a question. Everything is working great (Thank you Dan Ebberts!) except that my arms can only rotate one way. By that I mean when I move the effector my arms either bend in or out depending on how I set up the “cw=true/false” variable.

Is there anyway to set up an “if/then” statement or some sort of switch so my arms can bend up if the effector is moved away from the body and the arms can bend down is the effector is moved towards the body?

I hope my question make sense.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Beth,

I haven’t had much luck with that. There always semms to be an undesireable jump at the transition point.

    Dan –

Thanks for your help. I think we will just use two separate rigs and cut between them when necessary.
