Activity Forums Adobe After Effects Expressions Simple, I hope…

I’m developing a promo for my office in which the certain planets of the solar system bounce in time to music. Simple enough, right? But my boss mentioned that she’d like to see the remaining planets, which aren’t bouncing, react/wiggle/bounce a little, when the other planets land.

Does that make sense? Basically it would be like having a bunch of marbles on a mattress that you’re jumping on and everytime your feet hit the bed those marbles react.

Is there a way to create this reaction with an expression?

    Thanks again.

How are you generating the original bounce?

I’m experimenting with Andrew Kramer’s expressions from his animated waveform tutorial. I figure it’s a good starting point and will, at least, give me a method with which to easily match the movement of the planets with the music. I’m still playing around with it though.
