  How many letters in a word?

  Is there a way to find out how many letters are in a word for an expression? I was doing a little text tracking expression on the main AE page and if I could find out how many letters are in the word it would be easier to center the amount of tracking (I was ofsetting the text tracking with a minus X position Animator).

  How many letters in a word?

  Is this what you mean?

  thisComp.layer(“test text”).text.sourceText.length
