    Hi guys

Sorry to bother you again…. but im tryng to think of a way to simplify a work flow.

I have a bunch of video layers, scaled to roughly 35% of the comp size. They are 3secs long and sequenced after each other. There is no dissolves, just straight cuts. `in the master comp, the video layers comp, changes its y position every 3 secs over 6 frames and holds that position.

I need to thnink of a way, that if the length of any of the video layers changes, the position in the master comp will also be adjusted automatically at the corresponding point. The distance that it travels on the Y position is constant 48pixels.

I don’t know if that is possible, so i thought that maybe i could place a null object in the master comp with markers already attached, that they could adjust their positions based on the in points of the video layers, thus giving a visual guide, where to manually adjust the position keyframes.

    Any advice….?

    Thanks again
    Chris

Expressions can’t create or reposition markers.

If I’m understanding you correctly, it seems like you should be able to handle your position animation the same way you did the white flashes – trigger it based on the layer’s out point.
