to express, or not to express…
i am hoping to use a wiggle expression to “cut” randomly amongst four videos, decreasing the frequency of the wiggle to zero until video “x” “holds” the frame. i have been working on wiggling the z position parameter, but am thinking it won’t work because i have four videos to cut amongst and not three, (-1, 0, 1) being the useful numbers there, yeah? i am pretty new to expressions, and not great at math… i guess my question is should i focus on another parameter other than the z position, like opacity or just turning layers on and off (can i do that with an expression)? or should i just take the time to cut/ keyframe this.
(also, in a perfect world- as the frequency of random “cuts” decreases, the expression would “choose” video “x” more and more often as it gets closer to “holding” the frame.)

I was preparing a whole post about how to script this, but scrap that:
do it by hand: Random cuts have the tendency to not look random enough, they look just like bad cutting, I doubt you’d be satisfied by the result.
