For all you math gurus, I have (I imagine) a simple question.

I am using cc sphere to achieve an earth rotation and expressions to a match Grid sphere rotation over it.

When I rotate the x Axis using key frames, I can easily change the Y axis to anything I want, but as soon as the z axis is changed , (obviously ?) my north pole is all over the map.

    Any help with this?

    Thanks a million…

Well I partly figured it out. Somehow I was using the sphere effect value instead of the layer transform value.

Although only the z value can be used there, since the other values affect the shape of the sphere.

But by playing with both x and y values on the sphere and the z transform value I was able to move things the way I wanted to, while keeping the rotation on the same axis.
