    Sorry about the naff inneundo.
I have been working through the Chris Zwar gears tutorial. Most excellent it is too. It is sheer bliss and a joy to work along too. Why I may print poster sized hard copies and pin them to my wall. Ok sorry again for the
hyberbole. Joking aside it really well written and fun to work on. Big thanks out for that 🙂
I have used expressions for the first time. Thanks to the tutorial I am all fired up explore futher. I cannot get the two drive rods to connect all that well. I have included a link to a .rar with a screenshot of the timeline and the script that I used. It will make things a lot clearer than I can explain in words.

    https://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/peterdexter/rod~screenshot.rar

Basicly the ends of the rods only connect at 90 and 270 degrees.
(this can be seen in the .jpg)
I have checked everything thoroughly and cannot see any error.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Btw is there a way to include a .jpg in the body of a post ?

Thanks again. Scuse for the long winded post

If you’re going to post a link, it might as well be to a jpg instead of a .rar of a jpeg. You’ll find you won’t get much response from folks when you post a rar because usually only more DOS/Windows compression fanboys bother with rar in the first place. Yes I know it’s great compression, I’m just saying most ppl don’t use it.

That being said to post embeded images in your posts, check out Kathlyn’s tutorial on it:

Without seeing what you’ve done, my guess would be that it’s a pixel aspect ratio thing (square pixel layers in a rectangular pixel comp?) If so, you’ll save yourself a lot of aggravation by working in a square pixel comp and fitting it inside your rectangular-pixel output comp when you’re done.
