  I need some input on how to attempt this project.

  So i need some additional input on how to (procedurally) attempt this project.

  I am creating something very similar to this:

  My main inquiry is how to create the background lights (bokeh)

  My ideas were to either use something from the red giant suite OR to do this using xpresso for the flicker and a depth pass/ cineware for the DOF

  Anyone have any ideas of their own, want to chime in on mine?

  Do you have Video Copilot’s Optical Flare? If yes they even have a tutorial that will give you a good idea on how to build that which comes with the plug-in.
