Chroma Keying
I am new to green screen projects and need a few tips on pulling a good key. I was told to put my tracking points in black tape behind my subject but now I am having a hard time keying them out. Did I do something un-fixable? I was thinking I might have to rotoscope the subject after a pull a key to get rid of the tracking points? That sounds to intense i must be missing something, here is a example of my mask:

Don’t try to key out the black tracking points; instead use the clone stamp tool and motion tracker to remove them. Here’s a good video on how to do it.

Also, looking at your shot, you could probably just do a garbage matter around your subject too. Draw a mask with the pen tool and keyframe it if you have to. For an even more advanced (and better) way to do a garbage matte, check out this tutorial.
