  Illustrator artboard gets cropped to 14400 pixels no matter what

  So, I have this comp in After Effects, which is 30,000 pixels wide by 15,000 tall. I need to import a file from Illustrator but the size limit there is 16383 px so I thought of making an even 15,000 by 7,500 in order to keep the 2:1 ratio and then scale it to 200% in AE.

  The problem is that when I import it into AE it comes cropped at 14400 by 7500 so it doesn’t even keeps the proportion of 2:1 I need and that throws away all the animation.

  I deleted the second artboard that Illustrator creates and made sure that all I have is the one 15,000 px artboard.

  Is there a way to lock the size so I truly import what I need and not this weird cropped version?
