Hello, I have a music video which when played on an iphone like a htc for example looks really nice (it seems to be some kind of heightened contrast). I was wondering if it’s possible to achieve that same effect in AE so it retains that quality in whatever medium its played, for example a PC.

All monitors react differently apart from colour grading monitors which should give the saem results.

The only way to match it would be to colour/luminance grade until the image on the phone matches that of your screen. Hold the phone up next to it to compare. But who knows what people are watching it on out there.

use the curves effect, and try searching for the saturation effect. you can choose the brightness using the brightness and contrast effect.
