  Text Going behind background layers?

  I’m working on lyric videos in After Effects, all the words are in 3D space. I added a swinging effect to some of the words, however when i make my background image in 3D Space it cuts through half of the words and makes half the word disappear. Any way around this or anything i can do to fix it? Any help would be great!

  Sure…take a look at the Top View. You’ll see that the text is probably on the same plane as the background layer. Just move your text in front of the background plane in Z Space. That will fix the problem. You could also put an Adjustment Layer in between the two intersecting layers – this will break the 3D effect.

  Wow thank you so much! that saved me a lot of time and frustration! I just had to view from the top and move to the top. I’m new to After Effects, but slowly learning!
