Colour correction on hair
Hi guys. I am currently motion tracking, masking
And colour correcting in after effects cs6. The clips
I am editing require a streak in the main characters
Hair to be colour corrected from blonde (yellow) to
White. Because the hair colour seems to match
A portion of the background in most shots I am forced to
Track and mask and that is coming along slowly
But surely. In some shots by applying change to
Colour and then hue and saturation I achieve the look
Of white hair. However in fast moving shots this option is
Making my hard work look amateur because if the mask
Moves slightly off a portion of the hair it’s easy to see the
Saturation effecting the background. If I use change to colour on its own and select white I get pink instead. I really hope someone has a solution or I may be posting
A completion status in about four years. Thanks guys. -

use a good keyer as an alpha mask to help support change to color effect.
