  Ayato tutorial 21

  A question regarding Ayato’s tutorial 21 on the melting text: The only thing I’m hung up on is losing the hard edge when the text “reveals.” I know it must be tied up in the mask feather somehow, because when I remove the feather completely, the text reveals as it should. But, when I add the feather value, the edge of the step 2 comp is seen as it moves to the left. What should the feather values (keyframes) be? I’ve searched for and read every post on this tutorial, but can’t get past this problem.

  Someone should develop a tutorial site on navigating Ayato’s tutorials!
